- Correct grammatical errors and punctuation
- Correct minor errors in sentence structure and language rules
- Point out any wording or phrasing that seems inappropriate for the subject matter and/or readership
- Insert flags throughout the document where approval from a third party may be required
- Correct commonly known errors (e.g. “Hillary Clinton, the senator from New Jersey” to
“Hillary Clinton, the senator from New York”)
- Provide light research to ensure accuracy (e.g. of such things as commonly used quotations or
statistics, etc.)
- Ensure that such things as plot line and character traits are consistent throughout the manuscript.
- Point out any minor instances where the material may stray from its intended purpose.
- For non fiction manuscripts, the book editor will preserve the consistency throughout by noting such things as the author's use of specific terminology, etc.

Our book editors will not: |
- Reorganize paragraphs to make them more logical to the reader (for that you would need to order the Publishing-Ready book editing package).
- Provide a complete fact check of the manuscript.
- How the Complete Edit process works:
- You choose one of our book editors who will provide you a FREE one chapter edit of your manuscript.
- After you have reviewed the complimentary edit provided by our book editor, you will pay the editing fee above and submit your manuscript (if you aren't satisfied with the editing job, you can choose to have another of our editors perform a sample edit for you or simply just walk away ? there is no obligation);
- The editor you've chosen will have the entire manuscript edited within 15-25 business days and will email it back to you in a format in which you can see the edits / deletions and can either accept or reject them.

With this book editing package, you will review the initial edit, accept or delete any proposed changes, then email them back to the book editor for a second review. You will also have one phone conference with the editor to discuss the editor's work. |

- Reviewing the organization of the material to ensure that the theories are developed fully and that the manuscript is in the most well-organized format.
- Check the appropriateness of all figures. The book editor will email you with any questions.
- Offer suggestions to improve the work, such as revisions and restructuring ideas.
